The importance of baby sleep
All living things need sleep. Sleep gives humans and all
living things time to recover and regenerate. Lions need 16 to 18 hours of sleep,
while primates need 10 to 12 hours of sleep. Humans need an average of six to
eight hours of sleep to stay young. Human babies need a full eight hours of
sleep in between.
The body uses sleep to regenerate cells and refreshes the
brain and helps in the development of our body, brain and health as a whole. When
we are sleeping, the human body can regenerate hair follicles, fingernails,
toenails and even the outer covering of the skin. This is due to the auto-pilot
that builds up in our bodies. People think that the body only needs to recharge
the energy expended during the day's work, but the truth is that when the brain
does not control much of the process, the body regenerates much faster.
Therefore, children need bedtime to develop muscle, limb and
skeletal structure. To get your baby to sleep well, it is important that your
baby has a comfortable and inviting bed. The secret of a good bed is what feels
right. Beds that are too big can make your little one feel unsafe. Your baby's
bed should be comfortable and secure to get a good night's sleep. Always choose
the right bed. The bed should be easy to touch and feel comfortable. A bed that
is too tight or too fast lowers your baby's comfort level and therefore
shortens his sleep time. We want our children to enjoy their beds and see them
as a place of safety.
Try to make your child's sleeping experience pleasant. The
bed should invite the eye. There are so many great designs and fabrics on the
market today that choosing the right bed should not be too difficult. Remember
that your child needs plenty of rest to grow and develop, and when this is
achieved, your child can reach his or her full potential.
